KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- The persimmon is one of the major fruits grown in Afghanistan and is mostly found in the eastern and southern provinces of the country. As the weather gets colder in the southern Kandahar province, the bumper harvest of persimmons brought immense joy to local farmers.
